Jonathan Angelilli

Jonathan Angelilli

Jonathan is passionate about the power of movement and play to empower all of humankind. He started exercising to "look better naked", but fitness ended up radically transforming his life.  He was able to overcome a destructive teenage drug addiction using only movement, meditation, and nature connection.

Jonathan has been practicing movement for 30 years, coaching it for 19 years, has a BS in Psychology (NYU), as well as 11 of the most widely recognized fitness certifications in the USA. He has been featured as fitness and tai chi expert on network television (ABC, FOX), is a published author (Harper Collins), and has presented his work at a diverse array of places, from guest lecturing at colleges (NYU, Union College) to leading rituals at Burning Man to leading retreats into the wilderness.

Jonathan leads by example, as both an athlete and healer. He finished 7th place at a Spartan Race (2016), 75th at the OCR World Championships (2016), and competed on Season 8 and Season 9 of the hit NBC TV show American Ninja Warrior, where he was a City Finalist! He lives in NYC, and hasn’t been sick once in the last 12 years, thanks to his beast immune system and dynamic understanding of health.
